Sign-up and trial

In the cloud, everything starts with your company’s own Workspace. The first 14 days are free and need no payment details. After that, you decide whether to continue.

Register

On goodworkshop.org, Try it free leads to the form, which you can also reach directly at goodworkshop.org/registrieren.

Enter your First name, Last name and your E-mail address. You’ll use this address to sign in later.
Enter your company’s billing details: Company name, Street and number, Postal code, City and Country.
Enter the VAT number if you have one. For businesses in an EU country other than Austria it is required, because invoices are then issued without VAT (reverse charge). GoodWorkshop checks the number in the EU’s VIES register.
Choose the Billing model: per user or per workshop. You can switch it every month later.
Check the boxes: that you’re ordering as a business, that you’re entitled to represent the company, that you accept the terms and have read the privacy policy, and that you enter into the data processing agreement.
Click Register.

The form offers the EU countries plus Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway and the United Kingdom.

Confirm your registration

After you submit, it says “Check your inbox.” We send you a link; it’s valid for 24 hours and can be used once.

Open the e-mail “Confirm your GoodWorkshop registration”.
Click the link. The Create workspace page opens.
Click Create workspace.

That creates your workspace, signs you in and takes you to the library. You are the workspace’s first Admin. The e-mail “Welcome to GoodWorkshop” contains the contract terms that applied when you registered – keep it.

“This link has expired or was already used.”	Just register again.
“There already is an account for this address.”	Sign in with that address instead of registering again.

If you already have an account and register anyway, instead of the link you get an e-mail telling you that the address already exists.

The trial

The trial lasts 14 days from confirmation. During that time you can use everything without restriction, and you can invite colleagues too. Nothing that happens during the trial is charged.

Below the header it says how many days are left, for example “Trial: 9 days left.” Under Billing you see the exact day: Trial until …

If you haven’t added a payment method yet, we remind you by e-mail at the billing e-mail address: four days and one day before the end.

After the trial

not added a payment method	the workspace becomes read-only: reading and exporting work, changing does not.

A read-only workspace isn’t lost. As soon as an admin clicks Add payment method under Billing and adds a card, everything continues.
